Cafeteria and Playground Monitoring

To all Parents: We are looking for parents to help with Cafeteria and Playground monitoring. This is a very important endeavor because it safeguards our children. Several years ago we instituted this program with the understanding that teachers and students should have a break at lunch time so that everyone can return from lunch refreshed and ready to teach and learn. Over the years, many of the parents who initiated this effort and volunteered their time have graduated their children and moved on. This program is in critical need of volunteers because teachers are, once again, monitoring the playground and cafeteria. We are looking for volunteers for each day. Please consider volunteering one day each week. If you volunteer for the full lunch 11:15-1:00 for the remainder of the year, you will receive 30 points. You may sign up for a specific weekly lunch period for hourly points. The lunch schedule is as follows: Middle School 11:15-12:00, Grades 3-5 11:45-12:30, Grades K-2 12:15-1:00. Please consider volunteering and supporting our teachers and children in this program. Both Children and Teachers will derive a daily benefit from your volunteer efforts and support of this program. Please call or email Ellen Kidwell (703)368-2383, kidwelle @ verizon.net.
