PTO Nominations

Dear All Saints Families:

A school is only as strong as the community that supports it. All Saints Catholic School is a wonderful school not only because of the strength and dedication of our exceptional faculty and administration, but also because of the overwhelming commitment from our parent volunteers. It is with this support and commitment in mind that the nomination committee seeks nominees for the 2008-2009 PTO Executive Board.

The Executive Board consists of 4 officers. The duties of the officers are as follows:
 

The President shall: 1 year commitment
  • Preside at all meetings of the organization
  • Perform such other duties as may be prescribed in the bylaws or assigned by the organization
  • Be a member ex efficio of all committees
  • Coordinate the work of the officers and committees of the association in order that the objectives may be promoted
The Vice President / President Elect shall: 1 year commitment∙ becomes PTO President
  • Act as aide to the president
  • In their designated order, perform the duties of the president in the absence or inability of that officer to act
  • Perform other delegated duties as assigned
The Secretary shall: 2 year commitment
  • Record the minutes if all meetings of the organization
  • Keep the official copy of the bylaws in his/her files
  • Perform other delegated duties as assigned
The Treasurer shall: 2 year commitment
  • Coordinate all receipts and organization accounts with the rectory/ church accountant
  • Make disbursements as authorized by the president, executive board and organization
  • Prepare annual financial report as prescribed by the bylaws
  • Prepare an annual budget to be approved by the executive board and the organization
  • Provide budget status and forecasts to the executive board

Please take time to review these descriptions and nominate either yourself or another individual that you think would like to contribute their time and talent to our school. Please return the completed Nomination Form to the front office in an envelope marked PTO Nomination Form by Friday, April 18th.

With your help the PTO can continue to provide educational support to our teachers and students and plan fun filled community events for our community. It is our goal to support our school by strengthening the links between the teachers/administration, students, parents and community. Building these relationships enhances our children’s educational experience. Thank you for your current support of All Saints Catholic School. We hope that this letter challenges you to continue your support in new and exciting ways.
