General Cafeteria Information
1) Prices for the 2007-2008 school year will be as follows:

** Annual and Monthly ticket balances at year end cannot be refunded.
Monthly tickets have twenty punches.
PLEASE NOTE: Monthly milk tickets will no longer be available.
Ice cream prices vary from $0.60 to $0.75. All of these prices are repeated monthly on the menus sent home in the blue family envelope.
2) All checks for lunch and drink tickets should be made payable to "All Saints School". Payment envelopes should be clearly marked with your child's name, grade and what you are buying (lunch, monthly milk, etc.) Cash in unidentifiable envelopes cannot be applied. Cash for daily purchases will be collected by the cafeteria staff on the day the lunch is purchased. No advance daily purchases can be accepted. Money for cafeteria purchases cannot be combined on one check with other school expenses.
3)When your child is down to four punches left on his/her monthly ticket, a note will be sent home as a reminder to purchase another ticket. If you need to check the status of your child's ticket, please call the cafeteria at (703) 368-4400 etx. 211 Monday through Friday between 8am and 10am.
4) If your child has run out of lunch punches and does not have either money or a bagged lunch, we will advance up to two hot lunches to your child and send you a bill for $2.50 per lunch. If the situation persists, we will offer the child a bologna and cheese sandwich for that day and send you a bill for $2.50. You will then be contacted to discuss the matter.
5) If your child loses a drink ticket, please have him or her inform one of the kitchen staff. We can reissue tickets that are lost or misplaced if they don't turn up.
6) Each child must have his or her own drink ticket. Tickets are NOT to be shared among siblings and friends.
7) Please make sure your child knows that if (s)he has a lunch problem such as a forgotten bagged lunch, no money, lost ticket, etc. (s)he should always come and tell a member of the kitchen staff about it. If (s)he tells us, your child will not go hungry.
8) We care very much about your child's nutrition and menus are created with the intent of providing a well-balanced meal to each child served. We are also concerned about food waste and will contact you if your child is regularly discarding uneaten food.
9) If your child has a food allergy, please note them in writing to the school nurse and to Mrs. Wendy Matner in the cafeteria. Your child much be aware of them and also be told to avoid these foods. We will exercise reasonable precautions to avoid incidents.
10) If you have any questions about anything concerning your child's lunch, please feel free to contact the cafeteria at the number above between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM.
P.S. You are welcome to eat lunch with your child. Please call the cafeteria before 10AM to place your order. Cost for adults (payable when you arrive) is $2.50.
