Catholic Schools Week is January 27 - Feb. 2, 2008!

Posted Wednesday, January 23, 2008

Next week All Saints will observe Catholic Schools Week, an annual nationwide celebration of the mission and heritage of Catholic education. The theme for this year is Catholic Schools Light the Way. Our community celebration will begin with a special Open House event on Sunday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the school. Following the morning masses, the entire facility will be open for both current and prospective families to visit. Recent art completed by our students will be on display and a group of students, under the direction of Miss Dalusung, will perform a number of pieces. Refreshments will be available and all school/parish families will have an opportunity to visit classrooms and meet the teachers. Plan to attend and help us spread the word about the success of our school!
As a sign of school pride, all students are encouraged to wear their school uniforms to Sunday mass. During the morning liturgies, Fr. Bob will invite the students of All Saints to stand and be recognized as we begin our celebration of Catholic Schools Week!
