MISSION STATEMENT

We, the faculty and staff of All Saints Catholic School,
as dedicated Disciples of Christ,
commit ourselves
to the educational ministry of the Church.

As educators we promote the highest standards
of academic excellence and
personal responsibility by challenging students
to attain their individual potential.

Empowered by the Spirit,
we cultivate a Christ-centered community
that inspires students to use their talents and abilities
to serve God in the world.

All Saints is a parochial school, Christ-centered and rooted in the tradition of the Catholic Church. Recognizing parents as the primary educators, the school, in partnership with them, fosters spiritual growth and the educational development of each child. It is the goal and commitment of All Saints School to provide all students with the educational foundation to enable them to go forward in faith and knowledge into the world. Thus the curriculum is designed to offer every student a balanced program engendering spiritual growth, intellectual excellence, physical development, social responsibility, and sensitivity to cultural and aesthetic experience. All Saints cultivates a safe learning environment that encourages students to be active learners, finding opportunities to apply both knowledge and skills to problem solving.

Students are challenged by high expectations at All Saints and we support their efforts with reflective teaching practices. With sensitivity to the needs of the individual, All Saints nurtures and encourages each child to grow and attain his or her potential. We, as professional educators, engage in child-centered instruction, informed by appraisal and observation. Through a commitment of ongoing professional growth, teachers incorporate a variety of instructional strategies in an effort to develop within each student a sense of intellectual wonder and joy of learning. From this stimulus teachers collaborate to lead students into explorations of different aspects of the curriculum and to participate in enriching activities. We believe that such integration helps students to achieve a better understanding of the world in which they live. All Saints Catholic School is committed to this task in the process of developing life-long learners, who are faithful members of the Body of Christ and productive members of society.
