Advanced Band Earns Top Honors at Festival!

Congratulations to all of the members of the advanced band who participated in the annual Diocesan Band Festival held at Bishop Ireton High School on Saturday morning. Under the direction of Mr. Barry Ward, the founder and director of the All Saints Band, our students earned top honors, receiving the highest rating possible for their performance. One of the high points this year was the band’s performance of a piece entitled Gettysburg, a soul-stirring composition that included the placement of drums throughout the concert hall to replicate cannon fire! This special effect will be repeated at the spring band concert scheduled for Tuesday, May 15th at 7:30 in the gym. Plan now to attend and hear the sounds of our award-winning band!
