Art Teacher wins Grant for Project

As announced in the Washington Post this past weekend, Mrs. Suzanne Blair has won a grant for the art program at All Saints. The Washington Post Grants in the Arts Program was established to recognize classroom innovation and provide funds for arts education activities that enrich the standard curriculum, provide exposure to the visual and performing arts for all students, and encourage creativity and the development of fundamental skills. Through this program Mrs. Blair received financial support for a project she designed entitled Scientific Creations ~ Nature Inspired Batik. The projects completed by our students as part of this program are now on display on the bulletin board in the first floor of the new wing. Congratulations, Mrs. Blair, and thank you for your initiative and creativity!
